Dragontails started with a piece of string and a set of knots as reminders of the benefits of persistent toiling against everyday mountains on the path of life — a horse trainer’s hobby, braiding keychains with knots while working with horses. The design evolved into using marine cord from the sailing environment of the mediterranean and became a signature design element in our products, based on its high quality and longevity.
For ten years, it was simply gifts for friends and family, while it evolved into distinctive handy keytags with a few designs.
A few years ago, our family faced a loss that changed everything — the kind of loss that leaves you starting again with nothing after losing the light of your life to a rare cancer. The hobby that had once filled quiet hours became the thing we built on when there was nothing else left to build on, and we started our first stall at the local markets of Mallorca.
The evolution and expansion of our products was constant and progressed naturally into leather an fabric products and slowly the dark dragon cloud above us began to dissipate.
